Description:

Act Left is a student group dedicated to those fighting for a better world. We aim to provide community for those identifying with the social and political left. We hope to put on educational events in order to educate ourselves and others about issues which affect society. We also aim to organize and defend the rights of oppressed people. We hope to get more students and members of the university community involved with issues that affect us, such as war and imperialism; economic issues; racism; sexism; discrimination; and poverty.
