The University of Manitoba Students' Union (UMSU) fully recognizes the importance and necessity of student groups at the U of M. UMSU strongly believes that the participation of its members in campus activities leads to improved quality of life for all students. Thus, UMSU supports students in the formation and recognition of student groups, and strives to provide resources for recognized student groups on campus. The Student Group Handbook outlines how groups can attain recognition through UMSU.
